  2. Is it possible to have multiple winsock DLLs running at the same time?

  4. The situation is that I want to use Trumpet winsock for a SLIP/modem link,
  5. and use Novell's winsock for other applications (over the LAN) - in the same
  6. computer at the same time.

  46. I found if I load after loading another application (TimeSync) or Trumpet 
  47. Newsreader, it seems to work everytime; I have not had any more problems with 
  48. it.

  98. The problem I have is that my return address is not the IP address that SLIP
  99. returned to me. What the other person get's is the hostname of the SLIP
  100. server I'm on.

  102. So if I'm on Windows, the  person on UNIX gets: 
  103. respond with: talk name@slip.calpoly.edu

  105. How can I get it so that I can modify the slip.calpoly.edu to a
  106. 129.65.100.116 -- the IP address returned to me by SLIP?
